Burn-up of 1200 Mwd reached for the first time (60 days cycle)

On Wednesday, 5.03.2008 at 13:30 o'clock the reactor cycle 10b of the neutron source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) was terminated successfully with a burn-up of 1200 Mwd corresponding to 60 days of full power.[more]

Prof. Dr. Winfried Petry, scientific director of the FRM II, received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany

On February 11th 2008, Prof. Dr. Winfried Petry received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
