The neutron source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz has startet its 11th reactor cycle on Friday 30. March 2007 early in the morning. The foreseen end of this cycle will be Sunday, 20. May 2007.
MIEZE option avaiable
On Sunday, 18.02.2007 at 4:27 am the neutron source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) has been shut down due to a failure of the moderator cooling pump. The necessary repair of this pump causes the end of the current 10th reactor cycle ahead of schedule. It is planed that we will restart with the regularly scheduled 11th cycle on 29.03.2007.
