Bauernfeind-Medal for Dr. Ingo Neuhaus

Aktuell, Allgemein | 03.12.2009

The Technische Universitaet Muenchen awards Dr. Ingo Neuhaus, Technical Director of the FRM II, with the Karl Max von Bauernfeind-Medal.

Dr. Ingo Neuhaus receives the Karls Max von Bauernfeind medal of the TU Muenchen.
The medal is named after the first rector of what is now the TU Muenchen.

The award is handed to Dr. Neuhaus for the secure operation of the neutron source and his commitment for the production of the medically important and scarce radioisotope Molybdenum-99 at the FRM II, says the laudation of the TUM-President, Prof. Wolfgang A. Herrmann.

The Karl Max von Bauernfeind Medal is awarded to members of Technische Universität München who have gained distinction through their exemplary commitment on behalf of the University. It is named after the first rector of what is now TU München.
