Erasmus-Mundus Fellowships for European Students in the MaMaSELF Master Course.

The ERASMUS-MUNDUS master course “MaMaSELF” (Master of Materials Science Exploiting Large Scale Facilities) has been selected by the European Commission to participate in Action 3 and will obtain 20 fellowships (3100 €) for European students who want to conduct part of the master thesis abroad. Master thesis projects up to 5 months can be carried out in Switzerland or Japan in 1st class research laboratories. The Swiss partners are the ETH Zürich and the Paul-Scherrer-Institute (PSI) at Villigen, in Japan students can study at the University of Kyoto and Kofu . All research projects in Materials Science are in strong relation with Large Scale Facilities such as SPring-8 (Japan) and the Swiss Light Source (PSI), both 3rd generation synchrotron sources in as well as the Laboratory of Neutron Scattering at PSI.
