... is a series of events of the Chamber of Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK), which addresses to entrepreneurs, development and production managers and technology-oriented service providers. On June 23, therefore 20 IHK members from various sectors appeared in the morning at 8 am in order to learn about the testing of materials with neutrons. After a brief welcome by Prof. Winfried Petry and an introductory lecture with many very practical examples of Dr. Ralph Gilles, the group started on a short tour in the neutron guide hall to get from there at least an idea of ​​the facility, the instruments and their possibilities. During the subsequent breakfast more questions could be asked and specific concerns be clarified with the present scientists. Participants in this breakfast were extremely interested, so that the breakfast became almost a brunch – surely a win-win situation!
