Aktuell, Wissenschaft | 28.07.2011

In approximately 50 contributions, the cooperation partners FRM II, JCNS, HZG and HZB have enriched the European Conference on Neutron Scattering (ECNS) in Prague.

The ECNS (European Conference on Neutron Scattering) 2011  from July 17th to 22nd attracted some 750 scientists to Prague, whereof 16 came from the neutron source in Garching. On a jointly organized booth the FRM II, the Helmholtz centres Jülich, Berlin and Geesthacht informed about the experimental facilities at the  neutron source in Garching. Between the talks and poster sessions, the  booth was crowded. Scientists wanted to know the experimental facilities at the FRM II and how to apply for beam time in Garching.

The staff of JCNS, HZG, HZB and FRM II showed their own scienific results in a total of more than 50 contributions at the ECNS: 20 talks and about  30 posters.

The members of JCNS, HZG, HZB and FRM II, who participated at the conference, posed for a picture. The picture can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
