Two instrument scientists of the MLZ in the German Committee “Forschung mit Neutronen”

Two instrument scientists of the MLZ will be part of the eight delegates of the German Neutron scientists: Dr. Wiebke Lohstroh of Technische Universität München and Dr. Astrid Schneidewind of Forschungszentrum Jülich.

They daily live the collaboration of scientists from different research institutes. They feel responsible to actively continue this fruitful cooperation and make it conformable to new challenges.

The German Committee for Research with Neutrons can be elected by “Scientists in Germany as well as German scientists from abroad, who work with Neutrons and have a qualifying degree” as the statutes declare. In total, 1288 scientists were able to vote, 38,4 percent participated.
