In memory of Mr. Guido Engelke, former Administrative Director of FRM II

Allgemein, Aktuell | 25.03.2008

[Translate to English:] Dipl.-Ing. Guido Engelke, ehemaliger Verwaltungsdirektor am FRM II

The entire staff of the Neutron Research Source are joined together in honouring the memory of

Mr. Guido Engelke, former Administrative Director of FRM II,

who passed away on 4 March 2008.

Mr. Guido Engelke started working for FRM II in 1994 as project supervisor. From 1 January 2002 until December 2006 he filled the position of Administrative Director. From the very beginning Mr. Engelke dealt closely with the licensing process and the construction of the neutron source. His expert knowledge and his experience acquired during long years world-wide as well as his hard work and dedication were essential for the successful commissioning of the facility.

We will continue to hold Mr. Engelke in the highest of regards.
