The Global Partnership Working Group that is chaired by Germany in the framework of the G7 Presidency of the Federal Republic of Germany visited today the FRM II. The group mainly consisting of members of the Nuclear and Radiological Subworking Group (NRSWG) is primarily concerned with issues of nuclear and radiological security, such as radiation protection and the safe storage of nuclear fuels, which are based on international standards and agreements. Following the invitation of the Foreign Office, the international guests arrived for a visit at FRM II to read up on site about neutron sources, its scientific uniqueness and the access rules.
