Neutron Scattering Detects Phase Transition in Supercritical CO<sub>2<sub/>

Neutron scattering has enabled scientists at Forschungszentrum Jülich to detect the formation of droplets in supercritical carbon dioxide at high pressure. This finding can be used to determine a phase transition within the fluid with greater accuracy. [read more]
