On July, 15th the reactor was shutdown after 52 days of successful operation. [read more]

On Wednesday the 24.05.2006 the 7th reactor cycle started at the research neutron source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz. More than 70 experiments are planed out of which 22 stem from international collaborations. During the next 52 days measurements will take place 24h a day simultaneously on 14 instruments. Wednesday, 1.3.06 the reactor was shut down after the regular end of the 5th cycle. The 6th cycle is scheduled for start-up on 24.3.06. The break between the 2 cycles will  be used for routine tests and for installation of new neutron guide systems. [read more]
