Your visit to the FRM II

The Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) is a central scientific institute of TUM. It is one of the most powerful and modern neutron sources in the world. The neutrons produced here by means of nuclear fission are used for applications in the fields of science, industry and medicine.
